Indian Hockey lifts ban on Senior player Gurbaj Singh


Infosportsworld : Indian Hockey (HI) has lifted the 9 month ban on Gurbaj Singh with immediate effect in the wake of Punjab and Haryana High Court that termed the suspension of the senior player as “illegal”.

Hockey India had alleged that Gurbaj singh created disharmony and groupism in the indian hockey team and he suspended in the Hockey World League semi-finals in Antwerp, Belgium.

They said, “We issued Gurbaj Singh a warning that should he misconduct himself in his future.In this committee shall take serious note of the same as follows. We surely hope that the remaining members of the national team do not repeat like this mistake of indiscipline and creating groupism within the team.
