Carolina Marin from Spain she has become the first non-Asian woman to win the badminton singles Olympic gold by beating India’s PV Sindhu in the final in Rio Olympic 2016.

Sindhu catch the first set play with hardly and after Marin comfortably took the second, the world number one held off another fightback to win 19-21 21-12 21-15 set.

In the decider set, PV Sindhu started on the back as Marin was quickly take up 4-0 and then it goes like 9-4. PV Sindhu was looking to become the first Indian to win the Olympic badminton gold medal.
