Royal Challengers Bangalore batsman and Brisbane Heat player AB de Villiers said that he is not going to participate in the upcoming Big Bash League this year. But also he gives hope that he will be available in the upcoming years.

Brisbane Heat coach Darren Lehmann said that,” The team was ready to dismiss the South African player, he was currently performing in IPL 2020. This Sudden situation changes everyone’s pre preparations”.
“He quit the game because of some reasons but the major one was he and his wife Danielle eagerly waiting for their third child who is going to born soon. And also to avoid international travels and to stay safe from this COVID-19 pandemic he rejects this league”, Said Lehman.

“He was an excellent player in Royal Challengers Bangalore IPL so our team is always ready to work with him when the situation suits”.
AB de Villiers said in a statement that,” We unwillingly decides not to participate this league because of the adding up of new member in our family and also of the international travels and COVID-19 issues”.
“I am always interested to play with the team in the coming days. We didn’t achieve many score which we hope and also I feel that there is some unfinished task left behind”.
The off- spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman from Afghanistan returned to play in Brisbane Heat team this year. The tournament starts from December 3.
