The former Australian all-rounder and the Chennai Super Kings Opening star player Shane Watson decides to get retired from all forms of cricket. Already he got retired from International cricket in the year 2015.

He expressed his present decision after winning the match against Kings XI Punjab for 9 wickets in IPL 2020. In 2018 he played a major role for the title winning performance of CSK, he scored a century in the finals.
CSK has a set of good international players and Shane Watson also one of them. CSK won three IPL titles and Two Champions League CLT20. In this year 2020 the 39 year old batsman has only 299 runs in 11 innings.

CSK Official said the Times of India that,” In the dressing room Shane Watson reveals his decision of retirement after the game against Kings XI Punjab. He expressed emotionally that it was a great benefit to play for the franchise”.
A source said that “Watson will announce it officially within some days, after discussing with his family”. In his total 145 IPL matches he took 3874 runs and 92 wickets. He played in teams like Rajasthan Royals, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings.
His great performance led the Rajasthan Royals team to grab their first IPL title in the year 2008 and he played there for 7 years. Later he joined RCB but there he didn’t find any good years. He Joined CSK in the year 2018 and continues till 2020.
In International level he played 59 test matches, 190 ODIs and 58 T20s. In the year 2007 and 2015 he won the ICC World Cup with Australia. He was considered as one of the leading all-rounder of this century.
