Australian premium spinner Nathan Lyon reveals that 500 and above wickets in test match was his ambition. He needs only four matches to complete his 100 in test matches and he took 390 wickets totally. It was a great number as an Australian off- Spinner.
COVID-19 pandemic blocks him from attending the test match in adrenaline. But he shares that this long gap raises his interest to play more games and cross more than 500 wickets in test match.

This Australian player going to complete his 100th test match, he needs only four more to succeed. In the beginning of next year in Brisbane he will complete this record in the fourth and final match against India. He was the 10th player in the history of Australia to achieve this record.
The experienced spinner gave a report to Foxsports, he said that,” I am getting better day by day and I can give my full support to Australian cricket”.

He already bagged 390 wickets and it was more than any other Australian spinner. He played his last cricket match in January before the pandemic situation of COVID 19.
“To capture more than 500 wicket was my ambition” said Lyon.
He faced a long break because of this spreading disease but he says that this break raise his hunger to attain more match. “When you are not able to play the game which you loved the most, it will raise your hunger to perform well. May be it increased the love for the game”, said he.

“I am missing the test cricket in Adrenaline and also missing the pressure which comes from playing test match”, he added. This year he catches nine wickets in three games for the South Wales. The India’s tournament will begins on November 27 with three ODIs and many T20Is.
