Babar Azam became the Pakistan Captain of all the three Formats


Young Pakistani player Babar Azam was appointed as the new test captain in the place of Azhar Ali. He also got the captaincy in the limited overs format and become the captain of all the three formats of the game.

An announcement released by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) that, Babar is going to take the place of Azhar as a test Captain. Azhar was replaced in the place of Sarfaraz Ahmed to lead the team as a test captain.

After the announcement the new test captain overwhelms in joy and exclaims that it feels like living in a dream. He recalls his past days in a video released by the PCB,” In the beginning I was picking the balls in the test match. I felt it was a great honor to play for Pakistan and now my dream came into reality. I want to thank PCB to have faith in me as a captain”.

Babar said that to become a good captain I don’t feel hesitate to ask ideas from the former captains Sarfaraz Ahmed and Azhar Ali.

“I have played in the captaincy of Sarfaraz Ahmed and Azhar Ali. I learnt a lot from them so ill ask their advice and ill accept things which would be helpful for making me as a good captain”, he said.

Former test captain Azhar Ali post a tweet in a twitter which says that he will show his full support to Babar. The team is ahead for the tour of New Zealand and he shows hope the team is in a good form. ” The team was in a good development and I am sure we will have a good match there and my motto is to move with both the seniors and young players”.

He said that the key for success is maintaining the dressing room happily. Last year he was appointed as the captain for both the ODI and T20 teams and now he assured he will try his best to lead the team in test match.
