The English cricketer Ben Stokes was grieving for his father’s death. He was unable to resist in the battle of Brain Cancer, which he suffered for more than one year. His father Ged Stokes was a former rugby player and coach, he passed away at his age of 65.

The famous cricketer Ben Stokes stayed in Christchurch for more than one month to care his sick father. Currently he is in South Africa with his England team for the limited over series.
In T20I’s he played all the three matches and he didn’t participate in ODI’s cause that was cancelled due to the spread of COVID-19 disease inside the bio-bubble.
The England and Wales cricket board post a tweet in their official website,” Our hearty sympathy for Ben Stokes and his family regarding the death of his father Ged Stokes”.

In 2019 South Africa series Ben Stokes become famous for his middle finger bend pose. He made that pose to give tribute to his father, who removes his finger to play continuously.
