Circuit de Catalunya from Barcelona signed and expands the contract to conduct the Spanish Grand Prix Formula 1 race in 2021. A plan to establish a long-term deal was on progress said the Organisers.

Fernando Alonso, the double world champion will take part in the tournament this year. He returned the sports after a long 2 years break. The 39 years old champion will play for the Renault’s Alpine team.
Ramon Tremosa, the Catalan business minister said that, “we are trying to change the Montmelo racetrack as the permanent venue for car race. We will not stop asking government about this issue. Formula 1 is an investment not an expense”.
After shifting from McLaren to Ferrari colours Carlos Sainz will do his debut match for his new team.
