In this IPL 2020 season Chennai Super Kings didn’t got chance to perform in the playoffs. This was the first time CSK loss its playoff chance in the IPL era. CSK Captain MS Dhoni explains the reason and lamenting his grief for the great loss.

Chennai Super Kings won only 3 games out of their 11 matches and remains the bottom position of the points table with total 6 points. Captain Dhoni accepts that his team failed to show their total strength in this year.

Before the post match presentation Dhoni said that,” The team lacks its potential right from the second match while got defeated by Mumbai Indians. We have to analyse what’s our fault”. “This year is not a good one for CSK, if you loss the match for wickets it doesn’t matter but it pains when we realize our position in tournament. The team needs some luck too”.
He also explains their bad luck of the team,” If we decide to bat first due to lack of dew, we won’t win the toss. But if choose bat first there will be heavy dew”. He reports that youngsters will use the opportunity in the upcoming three matches.
“For the year 2021 we have to train some youngsters to notice who is good at which field .The existing players who waits for their chance in the back stage will also get chances in these last matches”.

Kieron Pollard the stand-in Captain of Mumbai Indians reveals their success was a team effort. “Team decides to set them out less than 100 but Sam gave a good batting. It was totally a team attempt”. Mumbai Indians Captain Rohit Sharma got injured and his team was led by Pollard.
He also added that, “We always have a perfect time to get self development, even I made many mistakes in the ground because we will not be aware anytime”. As a Stand-in Captain he said that,”In some occasions you don’t want to act as a leader to be a leader”.
