CSK Captain MS Dhoni was the first Player to Complete 200 Matches in IPL


Chennai Super Kings Captain MS Dhoni already completed his 199 matches in the IPL .Now he is going to record his 200th match in IPL by facing Rajasthan Royals in this 37th match in Abu Dhabi.

Both the teams Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings were in the edge of the points table due to their poor performance in the beginning of the tournament. They both will hustle to grab the win in this match.

At the same time Chennai Super Kings Captain MS Dhoni is going to achieve a new record of completing his 200 IPL matches. He was the first player to achieve this milestone.

In his 199 matches he scored 4,568 runs with 23 fifties and his highest score of not out is 84. His strike rate was 137.67 and Dhoni was the third big hitter in the tournament. He scored totally 215 sixes. Chris Gayle was in the first position with 333 sixes and AB de Villiers was in the second position with 231 sixes.

Dhoni took the Captaincy of CSK from the beginning of the IPL 2008. The team faced 8 finals led by him and won 3 titles in this decade 2010, 2011, and 2018. In 2019 they lost the finals to Mumbai Indians for just only one run. Under the leadership of Dhoni the team CSK won 102 matches out of 169.

In 2016 and 2017 CSK got banned from IPL in that period Dhoni leads the team Rising Pune Supergiant (RSP). He totally played 30 matches for them and scores 574 runs.

Mumbai Indians Captain Rohit Sharma was in the second place after Dhoni. Who, completes his 197 matches and we can expect his 200th match soon. From the year 2008 to 2010 he played for Deccan Chargers and he only missed two matches in IPL.

Suresh Raina was in the third place he played 193 matches and Dinesh Karthik played 191 IPL matches. RCB Captain Virat Kohli completes his 200 matches last week but 184 in IPL and 16 matches in the now-defunct Champions League T20.
