IPL 2020 KKR : Dinesh Karthik hand over the KKR captain post to his team mate Eoin Morgan and he says that he was going to concentrate on his batting. In this 32nd match of IPL 2020 Kolkata Knight Riders going to face Mumbai Indians.

KKR holds the 4th position in the points table and the team won 4 games out of seven. Totally Karthik led the team for 37 IPL games and they won 19 of their games with winning percentage 52.70. In 2018 he becomes the Skipper of the team.
When comparing with other KKR skippers, after Gautam Gambhir 57.43% he was the second best percentage winning skipper.

Venky, the CEO of KKR said that,” we feel lucky to have a captain like Dinesh Karthik , who always gave priority to the team. We are surprised by his decisions but we really respect his ideas. One really needs good courage to take such a decision like this”.
“And also we are lucky to have Eoin Morgan, he was the vice-captain of the team. Last year he won the World Cup as a captain. In this tournament both Dinesh and Eoin working with their beautiful ideas. Now Eoin is going to take the captaincy of KKR. It will be really a good idea and we guess that it will help them to the very extent”.

In 2009 Morgan won his first maiden by leading his England ODI team in World Cup. Later he was brought by KKR in the auction for 5.25 Crore.
Batting performance of Karthik didn’t help him in this tournament, his scores were 30, 0, 1, 6, 12. But he gave a half century in 26 balls while defeating the Kings XI Punjab. His total run in this tournament was 108 and strike rate goes up to 136.7 with one half century.
