England defensive midfielder Ainsley Cory Maitland-Niles has joined Olympique Lyon on a four-year deal after he leaving from Arsenal, the French club announced on Monday.

The 25-year-old Maitland-Niles, was a free agent after he departed from the English club after graduating from their academy in this year.
Maitland-Niles said,
“I am really very happy to sign in here. If you told me when I was six years old that one day I would join Lyon here, I would have never imagined it really. I absolutely have to grab this opportunity.”
Maitland-Lyon started its Ligue 1 campaign at Strasbourg on Sunday.
