Michel Platini – Former UEFA President taken into custody on Tuesday for corruption investigation regarding upcoming FIFA World Cup 2022.
French financial prosecutor’s spokesperson said, “The former UEFA President has been brought in the reason for questioning but till now he has not been arrested or charged with a crime”.

CNN reported , ” Earlier Michel Platini was facing a 4-year ban from the sport since 2015, over a suspicious $2 million payment he received from the FIFA.
