The 33-year-old winner Rafael Nadal said,
“It is really incredible to play with Roger Federer here. Congratulations to him. He is probably one of the best player in history for me”.
“It is always a tough match against Roger Federer and it was tough conditions with the wind also. I am happy to have another chance to play another final here in the French open 2019. It is the most important tournament in my life(career).”

The Loser Roger Federer said,
“I thought it was a great tournament for me”.
“I really enjoyed it. Crowd support couldn’t have been better. Maybe one of the best ever in my entire 20-year career that I have been on tour at a slam. “In terms of playing in this game, I think I really played well”.
