The Brazilian Professional Tennis player Haddad Maia reached semi-finals after beating world number seven Ons Jabeur in the quarter-finals. Maia is the first Brazilian woman to reach a major semi-final in the 55 years.

The 27-year-old Brazil’s Haddad Maia was in good spirit and she exposed full efforts to won the game in this season. In the French open semi-final Haddad Maia lost to Iga Swiatek by 6-2 7-6(7) on Thursday.
The world number 14 Maia after lost the match left with a smile from the ground.

Haddad Maia said, “Our first goal was to go to the third round.” “We really worked very hard, and me and my team very proud of ourselves, because it is not easy to be reach in this stage.
