Ahead of the third test match both the Indian and Australian team results negative for COVID-19. They were perfectly fit to participate in the third test match at Sydney, which will be held on January 7.

The Indian cricket board reveals in a statement that, “The Indian cricket squad members and their staff made a test RT-PTR for Covid-19 on 3 January, 2021. The result was negative for the all the members”.
The Spokesperson of Australian Cricket informs that the Australian team and their staff also receive negative result.
“The Cricket Australia players, staffs and match officials took the COVID-19 test and results negative said the Spokesperson”.

In the Indian squad members five of the members were in isolation so they give much importance to the test. The five players was send to quarantine after the both the countries made inquiry in a video on social media. In the video the five players Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Shubman Gill, Prithvi Shaw and Navdeep Saini are sitting inside the restaurant in Melbourne.
These players were trained separately from the rest of the other team members. And now all the team players including these five also eligible to fly Sydney for the third test match said the Indian Cricket board.
