India vs Australia Women’s ODI cricket match was previously scheduled in January has postponed due to COVID-19. Cricket Australia declared that the match will be held in the next season.

After becoming the runner-up in the last ODI and T20 world Cups, the Indian team didn’t enter the field for 10 months. The team played their last match of T20 World Cup final in the month of March on 8. The Cricket Australia said that the matches will be conduct on next season in the year 2022 and the tour will also contains the three Twenty20 matches.

The Australian interim CEO, Nick Hockley says that,” We strongly believe of providing very long schedule in the next season for the Australian and Indian Women’s team. This will be the fantastic season for the fans in both countries”.

We planned to play with India in this summer but the pandemic issues lead way to postpone it to next year.

“Conducting the match again with the same Indian Women’s team those who participate in the ICC T20 World Cup Final is an amazing feeling. The previous match was held in the month of March at the MCG. We decided to do something better than we planned previously”, said he.

Currently the Australian team was playing against the Indian men’s team in a four-test series. Both the teams met finally at the finals of the women’s T20 World Cup at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, there the Australian team defeats the Indian team.
