India vs Australia 2020 : The One Day International match between India and Australia held at Sydney cricket ground Sydney, Australia. Australian team defeated India for 66 runs win in the first day ODI match. The massive performance of Aaron Finch and Steve Smith helped the team to raise the total to huge 374.
Aaron Finch, the Australian team captain scores 114 and along with the opener David Warner he scores 156. The combination of Aaron Finch and Steve Smith scores 108 and the team reached the enormous total of 374 with 6 wickets.

Steve Smith reached century within 62 balls and it was the third fastest ODI century by an Australian batsman. He scored his century by 11 fours and 4 sixes and in the last over of the innings he was bowled by Mohammed Shami.
After his century Smith said that,” I took more risks than I usually do, but I handled the ball better. Sometimes we need some luck and I got it today. It was happy to score some runs for the team”.

The highest score makers of India are Shikhar Dhawan and Hardik Pandya. Shikhar scored 74 in 86 balls and Hardik score 90 within 76 balls. The Indian captain Virat Kohli failed to give a good start in the match. The Australian and Indian players undergo quarantine for 14 days, due to COVID-19 it become compulsory for all the team players. The Australian government allows 50% of audience in the Sydney cricket ground and they sold up to 24,000 tickets.
Due to the long break of pandemic situation, this was the first international match held in Australia after eight months. Australia had their International ODI cricket match at England in the month of September and they won the match against England.
For India, they lost to New Zealand in the month of March after that this was first International cricket match for them. Australia scored 33 fours and 9 sixes totally at the same time India scored 24 fours and 9 sixes.
After the great loss of team the Indian captain Virat Kohli said that, “No more reasons to escape, after crossing 20 overs the energy level is not good in the team. If you didn’t take any risk your opponent will take the chance and that’s what we faced today”.
