Indian Hockey team is Getting Ready to Face Tokyo Olympics – Kothajit


India Men’s Hockey Team senior defender Kothajit Singh says that after this pandemic break we have started our training now and there is lot of improvements. We will be in a good form in Olympics next year.


After a long break of 45 days due to COVID pandemic, the Sports Authority of India Centre starts the national  camp for both men and women hockey team in Bangalore.

The Manipuri player said that, “I am really excited to be here. In the past two months we have overcome lot of efforts and we are getting ready to face the Olympic in next year. We have to reach the full form at the right time and now we have more time to build our self and get better than this”.

“In a very short time Hockey India and SAI made all safe securities in one place to make us concentrate in the upcoming Olympics. We are heart fully thanking them for their wonderful deeds”, Said the 28 old player.

Kothajit participate more than 200 International matches and he used to represent as an Indian Player.

 He said that “I recognise my faults in the game during the quarantine period and now I know in which place I have to put more efforts”.

“It is not easy to be out of side. I want to fix my position in Indian Hockey Team so I decided to work hard to the most”.

He missed the chance to participate in Olympic Qualifiers last year. Later he joined the national team in the FIH Hockey Pro League in this year.

He very well knows the pain one will have during the period of missing the opportunities. He was in a deep interest to get a position in the coming days.
