World No.2 Ranker Aryna Sabalenka absence continues to the another Indian Wells Master event October 4-17. Already Naomi Osaka (2018 champion) and Serena Williams (23 times Grand Slam Champion) are also not competing.

The 23 year old Belarus Aryna Sabalenka will not play at the Indian Wells masters after Covid-19 test positive. Last month, US Open semi final Sabalenka lost to Canadian Leylah Fernandez.
Sabalenka wrote on her Instagram,” Unfortunately my Covid-19 test results are positive. So I won’t be able to compete Indian Wells. “For this i have started my isolation and I will be staying here with advised of doctors and health officials”.
Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka has already qualified for the WTA Finals season-ending contested by the world’s top eight single players & eight doubles teams which will be held on next month in Mexico.
