In IPL 2020, this was the second match Rahul playing as a captain. He already won the highest individual score record by a captain in IPL.
In 2017 during the match Sunrisers Hyderabad Vs Kolkata Knight Riders, David Warner the captain of SRH owns the same record before Rahul. David scores 126 runs in an innings.
In 2016 RCB captain Virat Kohli owns the highest individual score among all the Indian captains. He against Kings XI Punjab and scores 113 runs.
Highest individual score as an Indian batsman in IPL
In IPL 2018 Rishabh Pant as an Indian batsman owns the record for the highest individual score in the tournament. He scored 128* against the team Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Rishabh Pant record was break by the same countrymen KL Rahul, thus he scored 132 runs in the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore. In IPL history KL Rahul was the fourth person to hold the record highest individual score.
Chris Gayle, the co player of Rahul is leading the top position, his highest score was 175 and it was followed by Brendon McCullum who’s highest score was 158. The Royal Challengers player AB de Villiers was in the third position and his highest score was 133.
