IPL 2020 : Shoulder Injury Makes Ashwin’s Presence Doubt in Delhi Capitals


IPL 2020Shreyas Iyer, the captain of Delhi Capitals said that, before their next IPL game senior India-off spinner Ravichandran Ashwin is hopeful of recovering from his shoulder injury but his availability will be confirmed by the team physio with a final call.

Ravichandran Ashwin Bravely played the game and he drops the wickets of two KXIP batsmen later he met a shoulder injury.

After the victory of the team against KXIP in Dubai the team captain Iyer said that, “I spoke to Ashwin and he said that, he will be alright for the next game. But by the day’s end physio will decide it”

“He is mentally strong person, and we hope that he will be available”.

During the final powerplay over, Karun Nayir lost his wicket to Ashwin later he bowled to Nicholas Pooran and cleaned him off. After dropping the wickets of two Punjab batsmen, his left shoulder made a jerk and Ashwin writhe in pain.  The team’s physio ,Patrick Farhard came there and take Ashwin to off field.

Shoulder dislocation can make Ashwin out of this IPL which was shifted to UAE because of the rising rates of COVID-19 in India.
