Jasprit Bumrah, pacer of Mumbai Indians going to have a new bowling partner Trent Boult from New Zealand in IPL 2020. He also recalls his old golden days with former Indian cricket captain MS. Dhoni.

The well experienced pacer Lashith Malinga was replaced by Trent Boult, he was catch in the IPL trade window from the Delhi Capitals by Mumbai Indians squad before the auction of IPL 2020. Lashith Malinga’s service will be missed by Mumbai Indians and in the history of IPL he was the highest wicket- taker.

In this condition, defending champions role will be played by Jasprit and Boult, Mumbai Indians targeting their fifth IPL title and also they had a strong team.

Jasprit Bumrah recollects his memory with Dhoni on his International debut

In 2016, Jasprit made his International debut ODI series between Australia and India. Indian cricketer MS Dhoni captained the team.

Jasprit Bumrah asked Dhoni that shall he bowl the yorkers during the time of death overs but Dhoni declined his willingness because Dhoni underestimates the young 23 aged bowler would not able to withstand the yorkers under pressure.

But after he bowled some skillful yorkers Dhoni said him that he must came earlier so that India would have won many series which they played before.

He said that “In my International debut game, I asked him can I bowl yorkers? But he said no, don’t bowl yorkers, he thinks that it was a difficult task and I can’t manage that but in death overs, I don’t have idea what to do, so I went ahead and gives my part”.

Later he came to me and said “I don’t know this really, you should have come earlier we would have won the whole series”. This encouraging command from the great caption makes Jasprit to move on with confidence and it makes a great impact in his successful career.

Mumbai Indians with Jaspirt Bumrah will initiate their IPL on 19th September playing against Chennai Super Kings at Abu Dhabi.
