Jo-Wilfried Tsonga Ruled out from Australian Open after a Long Break

The French tennis player Jo-Wilfried Tsonga has not played any game after getting retired from his first round match at Melbourne Park in January.

In the Australian Open 2021 the Frenchman Jo-Wilfried and Roger Federer ruled out earlier. Jo-Wilfred lost the match because of his lower back injury which he failed to cure completely.

In a social media post the 2008 Melbourne champion Tsonga said that,” Before few months I gave great results but now I am not able to play the game”.

“Therefore the Australian Open match was conformed this year by the Medical team”.

“I am trying to come back again on a tennis court, it was a great loss that I am not able to attend the Australian Open but I must be calm”, he said.

Because of the strict border rules followed by Australia due to corona the first Grand Slam of 2021 was hold up by three weeks and the game will start on February 8.

Roger Federer, the six time champion was dismissed earlier this week. He faced two knee surgeries this year and he works hard to regain his fitness.
