Kuldeep Yadav – I don’t like to Bowl Andre Russell in Nets


IPL 2020 Kolkata Knight Riders spinner Kuldeep Yadev reports the media, he doesn’t like to bowl Andre Russell in nets and he explains the reason. Later he added that they are lucky to have him in their team.

Bowlers from all over the world don’t like to face him in T20 games the reason will be show if you look at the statistics of Indian Premier League. Over the year he was one of the destructive batsman in the tournament.

Last year T20 will show you that when Russell is on the ground the oppositions will not get any chance to set back. In 2019 IPL Russell scored 48 unbeaten in 13 balls and brought a great victory to the team KKR from the defeat of Sunrisers Hyderabad.


Last year in the IPL he scored 510 runs in 14 games at an average of 56.66 and strike rate 204.81. He has played totally 64 IPL games and strike rate of 186.41. News 18 asked Kuldeep Yadav about his experience in the nets, while bowling to Andre Russell.

The left-arm KKR spinner replied that, “Honestly I don’t like to bowl Russell during net sessions and further he explains why it was difficult for him”.

“Because his big shots will scare you and sometimes he will misses out and the ball will comes straight to hit you”.

“Though it was difficult to adjust yourself while bowling him, definitely you will got lot of experience to bowl in death overs or to face a skillful batsman. It is really a good experience for me and I’ll say he was one of the best T20 players and our team is lucky to have him”.
