The former 7s international rugby union player Mike Adamson was selected to referee the 2021 tournament. After 19 years this was the first time the Scotland will have a referee who handles Six Nations.
In February the 36 aged player will handle England v Italy at Twickenham. And he will act as an assistant referee in the other three matches.
He says that “Opportunities like this makes me feel like a player who got selected in the team”.

“Feeling was great but later you have to show your full potential. In refereeing also like the same, I have to perform well”, he said.
