Royal Challengers Bangalore pacer Mohammed Siraj led the team to defeat Kolkata Knight Riders in the 39th match of IPL 2020. He took 3 wickets out of 8 and also become the first bowler in IPL history to bowl two maidens in a single match.

Kolkata Knight Riders lost the game for 8 wickets and they score very low points in the IPL history 84 for 8 in 20 overs.

The Hyderabad player Mohammed Siraj came into the playing XI for the replacement of Shahbaz Ahmed. RCB captain Virat Kohli chooses him to bowl and he picked 3 wickets in his first 3 overs.

Toss was won by the KKR captain Eoin Morgan and he chooses batting first. Batsmen of KKR start to struggle from the second over after the entry of Siraj.

He picked three wickets of KKR’s top order batsmen. Siraj got the opening batsmen Rahul Tripathi , Nitish Rana and Tom Banton. Rahul lost with 1 run score, Nitish Rana lost the game in his first ball duck and Tom Banton was the player who came in Rana’s place lost in 10 runs.

Yuzvendra Chahal took the wickets of Dinesh Karthik and Pat Cummins. From the year 2012 this was the first time RCB playing IPL without their major players Sunil Narine and Andre Russell but still RCB has the ability to withstand other teams. But it will be difficult to handle till the end of tournament.

Both the team completes their 10 matches in this IPL tournament. In the points table Royal Challengers Bangalore over came Mumbai Indians and got the 2nd position with 12 points. Kolkata Knight Riders was in the 4th position with 10 points.
