Chennai Super Kings Captain and Skipper M.S.Dhoni said that, because of the 14 days quarantine he didn’t get much chance for batting for a long period. CSK lost to Rajasthan Royals for 16 runs in their second IPL match.
Dhoni send the players Sam Curran and Kedar Jadhav ahead of him to face the huge 217 run chase, and he came to batting at No 7. “I haven’t played for a long period, quarantine of 2 weeks doesn’t help” he replied for the one who asked for his low order.

One of the reasons for CSK’s shortage of runs is Murali Vijay, this opener run a ball 21 but Dhoni didn’t mention him. Next the spinners of CSK Ravindra Jadeja and Piyush Chawla didn’t perform well as usual.
“Steve and Samson really bats well,We have to appreciate their bowlers, in the first innings we can see the length to bowl. Actually to achieve 217 we really need a good start but we lack that.” Said Dhoni
“Their spinners perform well against our batsmen, but our spinners made errors. If we have to achieve 200 to win the game then it will be a good game for us.”
Rajasthan Royals Captain Steve Smith encourages Jofra Archer for his good batting hits which change the game in the last over.

Smith says that, “Jofra Archer’s hitting was impossible in the last overs. Sanju Samson throws all the balls to six. In the end Dhoni made some strong hits and Faf du Plessis also gave a good match but it feels nice to get a win”.
Smith flatters Sanju for his nine sixes. “Sanju played incredible and all I want to do was give him the strike and he will get lot of confidence from this. Jos Buttler was a good player and it’s very hard to get a player like him for the opening slot. We can see what will happen after he comes back”.
