Wimbledon 2023 : Top seed Carlos Alcaraz was beaten Italian Matteo Berrettini by 3-6, 6-3, 6-3, 6-3 to win the fourth round of Wimbledon on Monday.

The Spanian Alcaraz was beaten to the punch in the opening set 3-6 after that he raised his game to claim a remaining set as 6-3, 6-3, 6-3 win with the crowd sound that delight Centre Court.

The next round quarterfinal Alcaraz going to face Denmarkian Holger Rune for a place to reach the semifinals. In the previous game Berrettini could not maintain his full intensity against Alcaraz raised his tempo to seize control early in their second set, running his opponent ragged at times.
The 27-years-old Berrettini won the first set after that Alcaraz quickly completed the next three sets.
Alcaraz said,
“I’m so hungry for more. It’s something I really wanted now. I came in this year with that goal and get into the quarter-final, I am wanting more and more.” “I want to play the final here and maybe win it.”
“I knew it was going to be a really tough game. Matteo is a great player and he made the final here on grass.”
