Wimbledon 2023 – After losing the match against Sofia Kenin, Coco Gauff said, “frustrated and disappointed” in her first-ever opening-round defeat at Wimbledon on Monday.

WTA Ranking 128th Sofia Kenin defeated ranking number 7 Coco Gauff in the first day first round in the Wimbledon 2023.

The 19-years-old Coco Gauff said,
“Right now I am really very frustrated and disappointed after losing 6-4, 4-6, 6-2, in her first-ever opening-round defeat. I want to go back to the drawing board and see where I missed and need to improve and how to do the right drills to do that.“
“So, I think it makes me want to work even harder more and more. I feel like I have been working hard, but i know it’s not enough.“

Sofia Kenin said,
“When I was ranked higher and everything, people and fans looked at me like I should win. I knew she had be a little more nervous because more pressure’s on her than me. I just tried to use everything what i have and I could this match to my advantage”.
Sofia Kenin, been ranked high as world number four in the year March 2020 but now she is 128th rank. So she said this year may be a “comeback year” for me.
Sofia Kenin going to face China’s Wang Xinyu in her Wimbledon second round.
