WTA top seed Iga Swiatek faces wildcard Elina Svitolina in their quarterfinals of the Wimbledon 2023 Championships at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club (AELTC) in London.
The 22-years-old Swiatek reached into her maiden Wimbledon quarterfinal after a win over Belinda Bencic before clinching the fourth-round tie 6-7(4), 7-6(7), 6-3. The big fight is scheduled to be the Centre Court, first match on the ninth day of this championship.
The Pole Swiatek didn’t face a challenge in her first three rounds with Lin Zhu, Sara Sorribes Tormo, and Petra Martic without dropping a set.
Ukrainian Elina Svitolina faced some risky while played a thrilling fourth round match against Victoria Azarenka, she came back from a set down to win the deciding tiebreak after finishing the match with score 2-6, 6-4, 7-6(9).

Svitolina has to be making her second appearance in the last-eight stage of The Wimbledon Championships. Previously she has reached the semifinals in the year 2019.
