Nick Kyrgios, who is last year’s runner up withdrawn from this year’s Wimbledon on the eve of the tournament due to a wrist injury.

The 28-years-old Kyrgios, who was beaten by Novak Djokovic in the last year’s wimbledon final, he has some question marks over his participation of Wimbledon 2023.

Nick Kyrgios wrote in socia media,
“I am really so sad to say this that I have to withdraw from Wimbledon this year. While my comeback, I feel experienced with some pain in my wrist during Mallorca championship. As a precaution I had it scanned and it came back showing a torn ligament in my wrist. I tried everything to be able to play in Wimbledon and I am disappointed to say this I just didn’t have enough time to manage it before Wimbledon 2023.”
Kyrgios lastly played one match against Wu Yibing in Stuttgart last month, and admitted during his pre-tournament. He hopes to “I’m just going to try to do best everything what I can, prepare, go out there and play some good tennis.”
